1. Purpose of the study Analysis of impact of modern technologies on care about elderly.
2. What comes next? This study is a first step in the development of much bigger project with thousands of participats. The findings will have important implications for setup of a bigger project. Participants will get measuring devices and will be added into the research during a personal meeting.
3. Risks The likelihood of any harm from participating in this study is extremely low.
4. Benefits Participation in this study is unlikely to provide an immediate therapeutic benefit. Participation in the study may help to optimize health interventions that focus on increasing physical activity and reducing sedentary behavior in the future.
5. Confidentiality Statement All information collected during this study will be pseudonymized. The key to these codes will only be accessible to the researcher. Only the pseudonymised data will be used in any documentation, reports or publications (in medical journals or conferences) about the study. Confidentiality of the data is therefore always guaranteed. The data controller is the principal investigator- Only the involved researchers (4 seniors and 2 PhD students ) will have access to the personal data.
6. Right to ask A data subject can ask whether personal data is being processed about him/her, which categories of personal data this concerns, why they are processed and with whom they are shared.
7. Voluntary participation Participation in this study is completely voluntary, there can be no coercion in any way. All participants read and signed an informed consent form before inclusion in the study. The study protocol was conducted in accordance with the Ethics Committee University of Hradec Kralove.
